Seated was captain Addison mccomic. Also assembled was commander sotril, security chief giotto,Dr. Piper,chief enginer pitcarin,lt. Palmer, lt. Dasale,yeoman Smith,Dr. Dahner,and lt.ruins Herrington. Also there was the captain and first officer of the puritan ship.
“Our ship was on an exploration mission. We were contacted by an alien ship. They called themselves the hendreni. They claimed to be some kind of ambassadors of intergalactic peace. We are a non violent people. We let them come a bored. They had some kind of effect on our female crewman.  With there help,they seized our ship and marooned us in the escape podes. “Egreer said.
“It could be a form of telipathy or a pheromone . it could be a mind control techeque either natural or though technology!”Dr.piper said.

The two went to a corner. The commander Could not make our what was being said . the conversation was intense but cordial. They both seam to agree on how to procede. The two dispersed.
Addison went over to the commander. “Bary! I need you to act as a kind of stand by captain.I will instruct the department heads to follow your command if you chose to take it. “Adison said.
“I can’t do that Addison!” the chief security officer said. “Bary your first duty is to the ship. I need chief pitcarin In engineering. I need Dr. Piper in a support role. Look I have to know you have my back. I need you to promise me that you will get me out of the way if I present a threat to the ship. I need you to do this. ” Addison implored him. “Alright! I will do it! I don’t like it. I understand. I will get the ship and crew to safety!”he promised her. “I know you will. I want you to attend all high level briefings. You will be Kind of a shadow captain. “She said. “Very well !” he said.
Bridge
“What do you think ?” Addison asked. “I wish I could scan a brain of someone under there influence. “Dr. Piper said.”using one gender to overpower a ship or society is not unheard of. “Chief engineer pitcarin said. “We need to find a counter agent just in case we can’t get close enough to a Safe harbor!”Addison said. the crew was not sure they could do it but they would try.
“The closest base is star base 15. It is a five day journey at Maximum warp!”sotril said.”we have to try. Set course for the base Ryan !”Addison ordered. “You got it add!”she said.
Ryan altered the course. Lt. Dasale activated the engage button.”on course captain !”the senior helm officer reported.
Confrence room
“We are heading to star base 15,from there you can a range for one of your ships to return to your home space!” Addison said.
“Why don’t your female crew be confined to quarters?”Egreer Said. “I don’t believe that is necessary yet. My crew has a reputation for being one of the most professional crew in the fleet! “Addision said.
“Your not taking this situation seriously! Captain !”Egreer said.”I respectfully dissagre! Captain I won’t have my ship disrupted.”she said. “Why have you not stepped down?”Egreer asked. “Chief gioto  to is prepared to take over if I get out of line. “She said.”it won’t be enough. Your letting your ego get in the way of the safety of your crew!”Egreer said.
“Look your a guest ,captain. Do not test my hospitality !”the captain told Egreer. The alien commander was not pleased. For the time being he relented.
Hendrini vessel
“I am detecting another vessel in the vicinity ! I am detecting female and male crewman Excellency!” the former first officer of the puritan vessel said.
“They recovered the pods. They will not fall for our usual subterfuge excelentcy!” arced argued.
“Agreed! We will have to alter our plan considerably!”klasic suggested.
Klasic thought it over. Now he had a plan. It would not be easy but he believed it could work.

Miranda entered. “You wanted to see me?” Miranda asked. “Come in Miranda!”she said. She walked in and Sat down.
“You were quite a mystery. We had no idea where you came from. We sent your DNA to a central medical data base. They determined that you are my sister!”she said.
“Your sure?”Miranda said .”yes . it came as quite a surprise. I never my parents had died when I was young. It seams they may stil be alive or died later. “Addison said.
“Were you close?”Miranda asked. “I remember things that indicate we were. We have a few pictures. It is all a distant memory. “She said.
“They were kind,loving funny. I think they were runing from something or someone. “Miranda said.
“What happened to them?”she asked. “They left me on the planet Liz found me. They said they would come back for me when it was safe. ” Miranda told her.
“Did they mention a sister?”Addison asked. “No! They did not.so do we have any other siblings ?”the girl asked. “Two brothers.I tried to reconnect with them but I did not get too far. They had there own lives,there own universe and I did not fit in I guess. ” she said.
“So I am an aunt!”Miranda said. “Yea!”she said.

“Captain to the bridge!”lt. Palmer said over the com. “I got a go. We will talk later !”she Said. “Ok!”Miranda said.

Addison entered the turbo lift.she saw her husband Ryan. “Where is your shadow?”Ryan asked.”either on the bridge or will Be there shortly. Probibly twenty seconds before hearing it. “Addison said.
